Michael’s primary focus is Toronto’s financial core and periphery markets where he is active in investments, office and retail leasing. Since his inception at Ashlar in 2006, he has completed over 400 transactions on behalf of tenants, landlords, purchasers and vendors. Michael is actively listed on more than 30 assets across Toronto’s downtown market. Michael has helped to develop and implement real estate strategies for companies such as Blackstone Group (o/a Slate Properties), Allied Properties REIT, Harhay Construction, Penequity, Lehman Brothers Canada, TD Canada Trust, TELUS Communications, Hullmark Developments, Kingsett Capital, Carterra and Woodcliff Properties. Michael holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Waterloo.
