Terracap purchased 23 St. Thomas Street in 1995. Located in one of Toronto’s most prestigious residential and retail nodes, the small 70” by 110” block of land lay across from the Windsor Arms Hotel, steps away from Bloor Street, Toronto’s premiere high-end retail hub. Terracap increased the density of the product and changed the use to mixed-use residential and commercial. The company then further developed, marketed and sold approximately 38,000 square feet (25 units) of luxury high-end condominiums between 1990 and 2000. In addition, Terracap developed, leased and retained 4,300 square feet of prime ground-level retail space, which in the past have included such prominent national tenants as Cartier and Uggs Boots.
