About Unit 912

Top floor corner office in a heritage building, in a very convenient downtown location. High ceilings, concrete floors with a kitchen sink and small fridge.

The space has a main open area, a smaller open area plus two separate rooms that can be used for separate offices or meeting rooms. Very functional and efficient layout.

We're looking for someone to assume our lease with Aquilini, which is in effect until August 2018. The price is terrific so this won't last long. We're looking to find someone to take this over by May 15 or 30. Rent includes heat, electricity and in-suite janitorial. Building has 24 hour access, but doors are locked at 6pm, and there's an intercom system and keycard system.

We have desks and cabinets in the space, and are willing to negotiate the sale of that as well for a fully turn key office space.

About Seymour Building

Built between 1912 and 1920, with construction delays caused by WWI, the Yorkshire Guarantee and Securities Corporation Ltd Building, later known as the Seymour Building, exists today as one of the best Neo-Gothic edifices remaining in Vancouver. Designed by the Vancouver-based firm of Somervell & Putnam, the distinctive 10-storey granite-faced office tower stands at 525 Seymour Street in the heart of downtown Vancouver, where the bustling cityscape around the historic block has evolved significantly over the last century.

At 10 storeys, the Yorkshire Building was once one of the tallest in the city. Its Neo-Gothic carved-granite facade was a symbol of progress amid a cityscape that had evolved dramatically since the end of the 19th century, while its diminutive neighbours were proof-positive of Vancouver's breakneck pace of development — a situation as true then as it is today (Written by Adrian Gamble)
