The property features a three-storey plus basement stately mansion built in 1900 for B.T. Rogers, founder of Rogers Sugar. It was designed by famed New Westminster architect Samuel Maclure, and in its day it was known as the most lavish and opulent home ever constructed in B.C. Through successful restoration efforts over the past few decades, the exterior of the building has been preserved and appears almost exactly as it did over 100 years ago.
