We hold a sublease on a unit in Airdrie and just had our subtenant leave unexpectedly. The address is unit 101 – 191 Edwards Way SW Airdrie. The space is 1621sq foot and is zoned for commercial retail or office space. It is in the heart of Airdrie and available for January 1st. There is currently one year remaining on a sub-lease but the owner is willing to forgo that and sign a new lease with a qualified tenant so the space could be month to month, 1 year or longer term. The lease rate for the 2017 is $25 per sq, and approx. $7.50 sq. for the condo fees/maintenance and insurance. The building owner has said that if a tenant comes and signs a longer term lease, they would be willing to go back $22sq ft. Neighbours include a travel pharmacy, naturopath, travel agency, health clinic, investment office and others. We are working with the owner in hopes to have then list the unit with an agency and to share that cost but in the meantime we want to put those out to leasing agents and let them know that we are prepared to pay a commission if you are able to bring a tenant to us.
