The City of Airdrie is requesting input and/or information from businesses within the immediate and larger community that are interested in renting space to run their business within the new Airdrie Multi-Use and Library Facility to provide services. The organization’s services need to align with the vision and objectives of the new facility, but the business is not required to be art related. The purpose of this RFI is to determine the overall interest for the construction, operation, and long-term occupation of approximately 167 m2 [1,800 ft2].

The Building - Airdrie Multi-Use Facility and Library
The City of Airdrie is building a new Multi-Use Facility and Library with an area of approximately 73,000 square feet. This facility will have multiple uses and will benefit and be used by the whole community. While the library, with its wide range of programs and services will be the anchor tenant, approximately 20,000 square feet are allocated for multi-use spaces, including the atrium. There will be also spaces for community/business use, as a presenter space, a large and a medium multi-purpose room, three small meeting rooms, pop-up market opportunities and art exhibit spaces within the atrium area.
